Taridium’s Portable Office
Taking office calls just got a lot easier. Yesterday Taridium, a global software and services company stationed in Virginia, released a new ipbx iPhone interface which allows users to access PBX extensions directly from their iPhones. Dominque Kull, Taridium’s CTO, says, “it basically allows you to take your office extension with you anywhere you go.” Wireless capabilities, which have already changed the way businesses do business, are becoming even more useful for today’s business leaders.
The new interface will allow users to access visual voicemail, check their most recent calls, call users back as if they were still at their desks, and host conference calls all from the convenience of their iPhones. Another capability allows for calls to be recorded for instant review in case you missed something that was said during those important business conversations that sometimes move very quickly.
Considering the popularity of the virtual office, it’s almost becoming obsolete to conduct business the way it has been generally conducted. The speed and reach of the internet means deals are being struck in ways that have never been seen before. While even the best technology won’t necessarily get you that deal you’ve been looking to close, it can surely stack the odds in your favor.
For those on the go, Taridium’s recent release is a nice option to consider because that business call doesn’t have to wait for you to get to the office anymore.
